These Clarion 5-way 6x9's and 2-wa7 5 1/4's ROCK HARD ! Supreme uncontested most value for the money available today and best kept mystery judging by absence of appraisals and client introduction and I have had JBL GTOs, Polk DB arrangement, Infinity Kappas, Pioneers, Kickers and Rockford Fosgate previously, every one of them. I essentially like Rock and Metal, so these work consummately for that application (so would the 5-way Pioneers) and they don't require a huge amount of post-retail enhancement to create clean fresh vocals and highs with entirely decent base reaction. You can utilize the little clarion or snow capped amp in the glove box if your present tuner collector is low wattage, just set you back $100 or somewhere in the vicinity and have a decent stereo framework.
Sold my past Polk Amp and Speaker setup with my Dodge Ram Longhorn Extended taxicab, $2k worth, however the present Clarion Speaker and Sony Receiver with 40 RMS x 4 divert worked in AMP works fine and dandy in my 1971 Mustang and can even hear the music over the Rumble of the 351 Cleveland V8 4 barrel and Flowmaster Headers :- ) Now for the more Modern Camaro SS that I have, most likely supplant the phony named Boston Acoustics the Infinities would be sweet, yet require a superior amp. The stock paper dealios do work not too bad with the manufacturing plant amp and stereo.
